Rolling, rolling, rolling....

Keep that scroll frame rolling.....
I am happy to report progress on my LHS - Heart of America. Using the scroll frame is great and makes me anxious to roll the bars and advance the fabric. I am thinking I need to pick out a nice sampler to work on with this set up. What fun that would be to be able to roll through the bands.

Our Labor Day weekend was low-key so I managed to sneak in stitching time on this as well as some work on a quilt for my son - more on that in the next post.     For now a quick pix, a quick few stitches and it is off to work to wrap up the remaining data requests at work......whhhheeeeee!

  1. You made some needle progress. I use my scroll frame periodically. I like it on larger pieces. I hate the prep though, putting it on the rollers. I use Q-snaps most the time.

Can't wait to see what you are doing for your son. I am starting to look for flannel for my son a quilt. The last one I made for him is crib size - he's now 6'3"...and steals his dad's flannel quilt I finished about a year ago.

  2. Your progress is great :)
I love this piece! And I love those little clippy things on the side of your frame, I bet they keep the fabric nice and taut! :)

  3. Nice progress, Robin! Hope you're staying safe and dry through all this rain we're having.

Thanks is much for stopping by. I so enjoy your comments even if I do not always reply. Have a great day that hopefully includes a bit of stitching.
