Oh wish me luck!

I have been thinking about this for sometime now........tried it once years ago and the results were disasterous.......a professional was needed to correct my efforts........people do it everyday and have great results........won't it just be difficult the first time and get easier each time after?........I'd actually like to embrace the natural but need to make the transitition from chemically enhanced to not.......jumping in and doing it myself fits my hectic schedule better than scheduling an appointment, driving like a mad-woman on the interstate to get from work to the appt. and squeezing in the two hours needed before heading to a meeting..........in an effort to make my life easier, I may make it harder........me and Miss Clairol have a date this afternoon. I just pray I don't have to call up my hairdresser and beg her to correct it!

I just hope there is truth in advertising.

  1. Good luck! I had to stop trying. Mine kept going fuschia on me. LOL

  2. Good luck Robin. I had one disaster years ago & my hairdresser told me to shampoo right away with baby shampoo or dawn dish washing liquid. Either if these 2 products will strip the color right off.

  3. make sure that you have enough color. A lot of people just get one box (and they have hair like of the girl in the image on the box you have) and run out leaving them with patches not covered. I have been coloring my grey for years now and found that out a long time ago lol. Short hair = 1 box; medium hear = 2 boxes; long hair = 3 and up. Good luck and I hope it turns out wonderful.

  4. ohh I dye my hair all the time at home. Doesn't cost as much ans I get to change the colour cheaply. Just make sure that when you choose a colour you find out if you have an ask in your natural colour or not. I find that makes a difference with how the colour will come out.

  5. How'd it turn out?! The good thing about this is that you can do your own root touchups with the same brand, it works amazingly! Yes, I am 25 and have completely gray hair :-( shhhhhhhhh!

  6. Good luck! I'm sure it came out fine. :)
I do my own because I get twitchy at the merest whisper of roots and have to do it again exactly at the 4 week mark, which is quite expensive if I were going to the salon soo..........DIY it is!

Thanks is much for stopping by. I so enjoy your comments even if I do not always reply. Have a great day that hopefully includes a bit of stitching.
