8-Days

Thousands of miles,  lots of SPF 35, 2 paperbacks, a souvenir or two, fabulous meals, great shows, beautiful tropical breezes, unbelievable blue waters, temps in the upper 70's and low 80's, not much stitching but 8 glorious days with 8 friends......ah....sign me up again!

Just back home late last night from my cruise.   What a wonderful time we had.  Five girls and one guy....we were known on ship as Tom and his Pussycats!  We did enjoy ourselves and I am all ready to book again for the same time next year.

From the beach while on Princess Cay

Docking in St. Maarten

I never ever will cease to be mesmerized by the beautiful waters

Sunrise in St. Thomas

Enjoying a bottle of champagne - a prize we won playing an board nightclub game.

My breakfast view at we docked in Grand Turk.

These ships are floating monsters!

When not ashore, there were concerts or movies under the stars to watch if we were not spending time at a show or club.

Princess Cay

A favorite spot to have that second cup of morning coffee.

Docking in St. Maartin from the other side of the ship - sorry, I used two cameras so pix are our of order.

Not much stitching done - really only what I did while at the airport but it's all good.   This is (of course) a new start - why, because that is what I do when I go on vacation.   It is my standard MO.  This is my first SamSarah.   It's a bit wrinkled from being shoved in my carry-on bag.

As great as it was, it sure felt so good to sleep in my own bed last night.  Now back to reality.  Much laundry, email (home and work!!) to catch up on.....let the count down start until next time.
