Week 14 - My Small Changes

Now this is a disgusting one and a boring one!  I plan to floss more regularly!  Yuck, of al the things I could change!!??!!     lol  I don't mind flossing and am the dutiful patient that flosses in few weeks prior to and immediately after my dental appointment.  After that, it is few and far between.  I guess it is the poster on the wall that I had to look at while I was sitting in the chair waiting for the hygenist at my last appointment.   The ugliness and pain of gum disease.  Ugh! Why not prevent it?   I have also heard that flossing can ward off many illnesses by ridding the bacteria that could ultimately cause illness, etc.   I won't say I don't have the time:  top of the morning/top teeth - bottom of the day/bottom teeth.  What will it take.....an extra minute of my time..........

  1. Once you make it part of your day, you won't be able to stop. I have to floss because getting little thing stuck between my teeth drives me crazy. My husband thinks my flossing is gross but he has gum problems and I don't.

What really helped me was buying the flavored wax floss and sticking it every where. There is floss in the bathroom, my makeup bag, my desk draw, my coat pocket, etc. When it goes on sale I stock up. It is a lot cheaper and less painful than not flossing. Good luck

  2. should you decide to go hi-tech and get a waterpik, understand that you might spend the first week shooting high-pressure spurts of water all over the bathroom. that thing has an unadvertised learning curve!

my new dentist told me to thank you for the fluoride treatments as a kid. so, thanks!

Thanks is much for stopping by. I so enjoy your comments even if I do not always reply. Have a great day that hopefully includes a bit of stitching.
