Now this is snowbound!!!

I hope the photos show this is more that snow against the screens on the upstairs windows.    These windows look out over the hip roof over the dining room.    The snow has drifted on the roof to partially cover these windows!  Way cool.

Now for some re-purposing.   When I painted what will be my sewing room a couple of weeks ago I sorted and purged and sorted some more.   Since we now have the big hang on the wall TV, we had a tv stand that was literally just sitting in the middle of the living room.    I took all my fabric, notions, buttons, rotary tools, etc. and arranged them inside.   I know, it is sacrilage to purge fabric and craft supplies but alas I did subcomb.  It is all part of the necessary purging that must be done before moving.  Anyway, I love the look and am anxious to sit and stitch up something!

  3. Your snowfall looks just like ours on the other side of PA, Robin! Beautiful, but, oh that shoveling...

Love your "new" stitching cabinet--very good use of your old TV cabinet!

  5. We have crazy snow drifts too. On one side of our house, all the snow is against our house and the neighbor's grass peeks through! And that's with at least 20" of snow. That wind was insane.

I like you repurposing of the tv cabinet. I need a place for my fabric and keep thinking it has to be a set of drawers. Good thinking!

If you're interested, you can donate some of your supplies to Haiti.

Thanks is much for stopping by. I so enjoy your comments even if I do not always reply. Have a great day that hopefully includes a bit of stitching.
